A digital agency forKusske Design Initiative

The University of Minnesota wanted to create an online space to showcase work and ideas born from its KUSSKE DESIGN INITIATIVE – a programme that encourages different design disciplines to collaborate to solve global issues. The KDI team asked us to connect them with digital agencies that could build that platform, and deliver an accompanying content strategy to raise awareness of the initiative.

A project as innovative and design-forward as this needed a strong creative team that were willing to not just complete the project but really propel it forward. We shared a shortlist of US-based agencies that we knew could meet both the design and tech expectations, and help guide and manage KDI’s various stakeholders throughout the process.

From our shortlist, KDI chose to work with the talented team at VIEW SOURCE, who built Canopy: a dynamic, interconnected and experimental visual system that showcases KDI projects, events and resources. Intuitive features like the project builder allow users to easily share their work in various formats, while individual personalisation encourages people to come back and explore more of what they’re interested in.

“Working with the KDI team was nothing short of a dream. They set their sights high with an ambitious goal, both aesthetically and technically. Throughout the entire process, even when affronting any uncertainties, they partnered with us in a way that made us all feel like we can achieve this and cross the finish line together.”
